Mobile App for Your Players
Your players can install your coaching page as an app on their phone. Your branding, your icon, push notifications — without building a native app.
Why a mobile app matters for coaching
The player experience before a session starts with a booking. That booking happens on a phone, usually in a moment — on the commute, between meetings, after a session at the club. If the booking process is smooth and your coaching page is easy to access, they book. If it requires searching for a link or waiting for a slow website to load, some of them do not.
An app on a player’s home screen removes the friction entirely. Tap the icon, see your availability, book.
What a PWA is
PWA stands for Progressive Web App. It is a technology that allows a website to behave like a native app — installed on a phone’s home screen, with its own icon, working offline, sending push notifications — without going through the App Store or Google Play.
For you as a coach, it means your players can install your PadelEngage coaching page as an app on their phone without you needing to build a native app, pay app store fees, or maintain a separate codebase.
What your players experience
When a player visits your coaching page on their phone, they are prompted to install it as an app. On iPhone this appears as “Add to Home Screen” in Safari. On Android it appears as an install banner or prompt.
Once installed:
Your icon appears on their home screen. Not the PadelEngage logo — your coaching page icon, set from your profile image. When they want to book a session with you, they tap your icon.
It opens like an app, not a browser. No browser chrome, no URL bar, no tabs. Just your coaching page, full screen.
It works offline. Content that has been previously loaded — your profile, your services, session history — is cached and available without a signal. Useful for players checking their upcoming sessions when they have no data.
Push notifications. Players receive push notifications for booking confirmations, 24-hour session reminders, and any messages you send through the platform. Notifications appear on their phone exactly as they would from a native app.
Each coach gets their own app
This is the important detail: every PadelEngage coach has their own PWA. When a player installs your coaching page as an app, they are installing your app — not a generic PadelEngage app that every coach shares.
Your icon. Your branding. Your name on their home screen. When they want to book a session, they go to your app, not a platform directory where you compete with other coaches for their attention.
