These terms govern your use of PadelEngage, operated by Styles Dot Studio Ltd (trading as PadelEngage) ("PadelEngage", "we", "us"). By creating an account you agree to these terms.
1. The service
PadelEngage provides a coaching management platform for padel coaches and a booking service for players. Coaches pay a monthly subscription to access the platform. Players use the booking service for free.
2. Coach accounts
Eligibility. To use PadelEngage as a coach you must hold a valid padel coaching qualification and, where required by law or venue policy, appropriate LTA accreditation.
Account responsibility. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity that occurs under it.
Accurate information. You agree to provide accurate information about your qualifications, credentials, and coaching services.
Subscription. Coach accounts are billed monthly. Your subscription renews automatically unless cancelled. You may cancel at any time from your dashboard.
3. Payments
Player payments. Player payments for coaching sessions are processed by Stripe and paid directly to the coach's connected Stripe account. PadelEngage does not hold player funds.
Platform fees. PadelEngage charges coaches a monthly subscription fee. This does not constitute a cut of session revenue.
Stripe terms. By connecting a Stripe account, you agree to Stripe's Terms of Service. Stripe is responsible for payment processing; PadelEngage is not liable for payment processing errors or disputes handled by Stripe.
Refunds. Refund policies for coaching sessions are set by the individual coach within their PadelEngage service settings. PadelEngage processes refunds in accordance with the coach's configured policy.
4. Coach responsibilities
Coaches using PadelEngage are responsible for:
- Ensuring their qualifications and accreditations are current and valid
- Complying with LTA requirements for coaching at registered venues
- Holding appropriate public liability insurance
- Complying with safeguarding requirements when working with minors
- Setting accurate and fair prices and cancellation policies
- Delivering the coaching sessions they accept bookings for
PadelEngage is a platform — we do not employ coaches or guarantee the quality of coaching delivered through the platform.
5. Player responsibilities
Players are responsible for:
- Providing accurate contact information when booking
- Attending booked sessions or cancelling in accordance with the coach's policy
- Treating coaches and venues with respect
6. Prohibited use
You may not use PadelEngage to:
- Impersonate another person or misrepresent your qualifications
- Upload false or misleading information about coaching services
- Harass, abuse, or harm other users
- Violate any applicable law or regulation
7. Intellectual property
The PadelEngage platform, including its design, code, and content, is owned by Styles Dot Studio Ltd (trading as PadelEngage). Coaches retain ownership of the content they upload to their profiles.
8. Limitation of liability
PadelEngage provides the platform on an "as is" basis. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including loss of income, arising from use of the platform.
Our total liability to any coach or player shall not exceed the amount paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms. Coaches may cancel their subscription at any time. Players may delete their account at any time.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
