What data we collect

For coaches:

• Account information: name, email address, password (hashed)
• Profile information: bio, photo, coaching credentials, location
• Payment information: we do not store card details — payment is processed

by Stripe. We store your Stripe account ID to facilitate payouts.

• Business information: services, pricing, availability, booking history
• Communications: messages sent via the platform

For players:

• Account information: name, email address, password (hashed)
• Booking information: sessions booked, dates, coach, payment status
• Payment information: we do not store card details — payment is processed

by Stripe.

• Communications: confirmation emails and reminders sent via the platform

Automatically collected:

• Usage data: pages visited, features used, browser type, IP address

Why we collect it

We collect this data to:

• Provide the PadelEngage coaching platform and booking service
• Process payments via Stripe
• Send booking confirmations, reminders, and platform notifications
• Comply with legal obligations (tax records, GDPR compliance)
• Improve the platform based on how it is used

Our legal basis for processing is primarily contract performance (we need your data to provide the service you signed up for) and legitimate interests (improving the platform). For marketing communications, we rely on consent.

How we share your data

With Stripe: We share necessary payment and identity information with Stripe to process payments. Stripe's privacy policy applies to data they hold.

With coaches (for players): When a player books a coaching session, their name and contact details are shared with the coach they booked with.

With players (for coaches): Coach profile information (name, bio, credentials, photo) is publicly visible on coaching profile pages.

We do not sell your data to third parties for marketing purposes.

We may share data if required by law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of PadelEngage users.

Data retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards to comply with legal obligations. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time.
